STANDAGE Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo/ CEO: Akinori Adachi) announced the start of demonstration of trade between Japan and Nigeria with the “Shake Hands Contract” service (SHC) from April, 2019.

In this demonstration, we are going to purchase five used personal computers from FAIRWAY Corporation (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo/ CEO: Takeo Yasujima), receive an order at STANDAGE Nigeria office, and send money using SHC.

SHC is an escrow platform for trade settlement between companies based on blockchain technology.
It enables credit and international remittance by using blockchain technology without going through banks or cash.
This will provide new trading opportunities for SMEs and second-hand companies that have had difficulty with banks.
SHC is “fast, cheap and easy to use”,
It is a service that reverses the conventional complicated trade flow.
We will continue to conduct demonstration experiments and strive to launch SHC as quickly as possible.
