STANDAGE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akinori Adachi; hereinafter referred to as STANDAGE) commenced a demonstration experiment of trade between Japan and Nigeria using its "Shake Hands Contract" service (hereinafter referred to as SHC) on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.<\/p>\n

In this demonstration experiment, we purchased five used personal computers from FAIRWAY Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takeo Ajima; hereinafter referred to as FAIRWAY), received the order at STANDAGE's Nigeria branch, and handled the trade operations, escrow, and remittance at SHC.<\/p>\n

\nSTANDAGE Nigeria branch is the Buyer, and FAIRWAY is the Seller.
\n\u2460 Seller offers product trade
\n\u2461 Buyer receives an offer
\n\u2462 The seller sends the contract, price, and other details.
\n\u2463 The Buyer deposits the specified amount onto the SHC platform.
\n\u2464 After the seller confirms the buyer's payment, the seller ships the product.
\n\u2465 The buyer receives the product.
\n\u2466 The seller receives the escrowed payment.<\/p>\n

The process involves completing steps \u2460 through \u2464 in about an hour, actually shipping the goods and confirming their arrival (\u2465). Once approved on the SHC platform, the escrowed payment for the goods will be credited to your account (\u2466).
\nWe verified that using SHC (Supervisory Control Hazard) can shorten the normal trade process by more than half, demonstrating its convenience and practicality.<\/p>\n

We will continue to conduct pilot tests and strive to launch this project as quickly as possible, so that we can be the first to introduce to the world an SHC service that is "fast, inexpensive, and easy to use," overturning the conventional, cumbersome trade flow.<\/p>\n
