Our COO, Omori, will be speaking at the "Africa Business Matching Seminar in Kenya," which will be held in Nairobi, Kenya from January 27th to 28th, 2020.<\/p>\n

This seminar aims to provide Japanese companies seeking overseas expansion, as well as companies supporting the overseas expansion of Japanese companies, with an opportunity to experience the growing business needs for B2B industrial equipment and other products in Kenya due to industrial development, and the possibilities of co-creating value with Kenyan companies based on these needs.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, this seminar will be held as part of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's subsidized project, "The 5th Annual 'Leap Out Japan!'"*.<\/p>\n

Day 1 consisted of a "briefing for Japanese participants" and a "joint Japan-Kenya seminar."
\nIn the "briefing for Japanese speakers," private supporters who assist Japanese companies in business partnerships with local companies in Africa will introduce their support case studies and initiatives.
\nThe "Japan-Kenya Joint Seminar" will feature presentations from local Kenyan companies about their business needs in Kenya and the types of business partners they are seeking.
\nJapanese companies are asking about the potential for collaboration with Kenyan companies through their services.
\nWe will conduct presentations and discussions on this topic.<\/p>\n

On the second day, we visited a factory in Kenya.
\nBy visiting around three factories in the Nairobi area and seeing the actual production sites, you can get a sense of the level of quality at the manufacturing facilities.<\/p>\n

We will be introducing our SHC (Super Health Care) project initiatives during the "briefing for Japanese participants" on the first day.
\nWe hope that this will become widely known among Japanese companies considering doing business with Africa, and that it will lead to support for local businesses.<\/p>\n

* "Tobidase Japan!" is a subsidy program implemented by I.C. Net as part of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's FY2019 "Technology Cooperation Utilization Type Emerging Market Development Project Subsidy (Social Issue Solving Type International Joint Development Project)" for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that can be used when expanding into emerging countries.
\nIn addition to providing subsidies, IC Net, a consulting firm with extensive overseas experience, will provide business expansion support services to support your overseas expansion in emerging and developing countries.<\/p>\n
