Expanding sales of Japanese products on Southeast Asia's largest online marketplace.<\/span><\/p>\n

STANDAGE Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Akinori Adachi; hereinafter referred to as STANDAGE) has added Vietnam to the list of countries where products can be listed through "Shopee," Southeast Asia's largest online marketplace. Previously, Japanese products handled by customers of STANDAGE's export support service "Omakase Trading" were sold through "Shopee" in five countries: Singapore, the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand. With the addition of Vietnam, sales are now possible in a total of six countries. The popularity of Japanese products in Southeast Asia has been rapidly increasing recently, and various Japanese products are seeing increased sales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2022, Standage has been providing "Omakase Trading," a service that supports the overseas expansion of small and medium-sized manufacturers. This service goes beyond simply acting as an agent or consultant for some related tasks, providing end-to-end support from developing overseas sales channels to negotiation, contracting, payment, and international logistics arrangements. Standage utilizes various methods, both offline and online, to deliver our customers' products to as many people as possible. As part of our online methods, we use "Shopee," the largest shopping app in Southeast Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Standage has so far expanded to five countries (Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand) through Shopee.<\/span>We handled 138 products from 22 companies.<\/span>With the addition of Vietnam, we can now provide even greater support to our customers who have adopted our automated trading service in increasing their sales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Japanese food and supplements labeled "made in Japan" are steadily increasing in sales because they easily differentiate themselves from local products in terms of high quality and reliability.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among these, emergency food supplies and tea are particularly popular and well-received items.<\/span><\/p>\n

Japanese tea has become incredibly popular in Thailand, with some products selling over 1,500 units per month.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, Shopee has announced plans to expand its business not only in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, but also in South American markets such as Brazil. We will also be adding countries where we can list our products as needed.<\/span><\/p>\n
