STANDAGE Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture; President: Takashi Sato) and Hokuto Bank, Ltd. (Head office: Akita City, Akita Prefecture; President: Takashi Sato) to promote its overseas expansion support service, "Omakase Trade."<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amid declining domestic demand and a persistently weak yen, the need for small and medium-sized enterprises to expand overseas is increasing. Through business matching with Shonai Bank Ltd. and Hokuto Bank Ltd., we will work to support companies aiming to expand overseas and revitalize the regional economy by expanding awareness and adoption of our overseas expansion support service, "Omakase Trade."<\/p>\n

\u25a0 Increased demand amid a weaker yen: "Omakase Trading," a service supporting overseas expansion for SMEs, has surpassed 370 contracted companies in approximately three years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Standage is working on developing and operating trade DX products that will elevate trade infrastructure to the next stage, including a new trade settlement system utilizing blockchain and stablecoins. As part of its efforts to increase the number of domestic trade players and expand the market, Standage is working to support the overseas expansion of domestic companies that have no experience in overseas operations.<\/p>\n

This service, which was created as an initiative to provide end-to-end support for trade development for small and medium-sized enterprises, has been affected by the persistent depreciation of the yen since around the end of 2022. As a result, the cumulative number of contracted companies exceeded 100 at the end of August 2023 and 150 in February 2024. And as of the end of September 2025, approximately three years after the official launch of the service, the number of contracted companies has exceeded 370.<\/p>\n

Standage will continue to contribute to the expansion of global and Japanese trade markets and the revitalization of regional economies by supporting the overseas expansion of Japanese companies.<\/p>\n
