(Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Lei Seki; hereinafter "BitTrade") to verify the potential of using crypto assets in the trade sector.<\/p>\n

On August 6, 2026, the two companies announced the start of a joint demonstration project to examine the practical challenges and possibilities of using crypto assets in the trade sector.<\/p>\n

In our previous announcement, we listed the following as the main verification items: the time and cost required from cryptocurrency deposit confirmation to conversion to yen, the price difference between deposit and sale, and the confirmation flow for deposits and withdrawals.<\/p>\n

In this demonstration, we verified the entire process from actually sending cryptocurrency, confirming receipt within Japan, selling and converting it to yen, and finally making it available for withdrawal in Japanese yen.<\/p>\n

As a result, we confirmed that under the conditions of this demonstration, the entire practical workflow, from confirmation of receipt of funds to sale and conversion to yen, and finally to the point where the funds could be withdrawn in Japanese yen, was completed within a few hours. Furthermore, the costs incurred during the conversion to yen were lower than the expected levels set by both companies before the demonstration.<\/p>\n

*In this demonstration, "the state in which funds can be withdrawn as Japanese yen" refers to the point in time when the Japanese yen balance is reflected in the BitTrade account. The time required is the result under the demonstration conditions set for this demonstration and may vary depending on trading conditions and operating methods.<\/p>\n

Please note that this demonstration will be conducted by STANDAGE and Bittrade within the scope of their respective roles, and the two companies will not jointly undertake the transfer or remittance of crypto assets or funds, payment processing, or collection of payments. Furthermore, STANDAGE will not buy, sell, exchange, or manage any crypto assets in this demonstration. The process of confirming the deposit of crypto assets and selling\/converting them to Japanese yen through spot transactions (buying and selling) will be handled by Bittrade, a crypto asset exchange operator.<\/p>\n

In this demonstration, we not only focused on the technical aspects of whether cryptocurrency could be sent, but also simulated a scenario in which a corporation would actually use it in a transaction, and carried out the entire process from confirmation after receipt to sale and conversion to yen.<\/p>\n

Under the conditions of this demonstration, we confirmed that the entire process, from receiving the funds to selling them and converting them to yen, to being able to withdraw them as Japanese yen, was completed within a few hours.<\/p>\n

The workflow we reviewed this time includes practical processes such as confirming receipt of funds and selling. In the future, we will also investigate whether further efficiency can be achieved by standardizing and automating these operational workflows.<\/p>\n

In this demonstration, we also checked the costs incurred when converting crypto assets to Japanese yen. As a result, the costs of conversion to yen were lower than the expected levels set by both companies before the demonstration.<\/p>\n

This announcement focuses on disclosing the time required for the practical workflow and the costs associated with currency conversion, among the verification items outlined in the previous announcement. Further details on the specific verification results will be presented at the joint seminar to be held on September 15, 2026 (Tuesday).<\/p>\n

In this demonstration, we confirmed the verification items outlined in our previous announcement by actually running a series of processes.<\/p>\n

Going forward, we will conduct demonstrations on a scale and under conditions closer to actual trade transactions, and we will also examine how the cost structure changes when the transaction scale is altered, as well as how to improve efficiency through standardization and automation of the operational flow. Furthermore, we will continue our verification efforts toward the practical application of cryptocurrency-based payments, while also considering collaborations with businesses involved in trade operations.<\/p>\n
