[Staff Blog] # To those who work on the sea, tomorrow is "Marine Day" 🌊

【スタッフブログ】#海ではたらく人へ、明日は「海の日」🌊

Hello, I'm staff member Mmi (*^^)/
Starting tomorrow, we have Marine Day and Sports Day, so it'll be a four-day weekend!

"Marine Day" is a day that brings to mind the image of summer vacation starting!
(Especially for students and those with children).

Did you know that Japan is the only country in the world that has Marine Day as a national holiday? (Source: Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism)

Japan is a maritime nation surrounded by the sea.
Marine Day was established with the aim of expressing gratitude for the blessings of the sea and praying for the prosperity of Japan, a maritime nation.
The fish is delicious 🐟

And as people involved in the trading business, we must not forget about shipping.

Approximately 99.6% of Japan's import and export trade is carried out by marine transport (almost 100%!).
The ocean is an important lifeline that supports our lives.

Thank you to everyone who works in the shipping industry and to the seafarers who support shipping (*^^*)

[ #For those who work at sea Let's express our gratitude.
