Hello, I'm staff member Mmi (*^^)/
The Olympics, which began at the end of July, will finally end this weekend, but are you all watching?
The rush of medals every day is truly amazing!!
The first thing that became popular at the Olympics was the opening ceremony.
I was fascinated by the beautiful and unique costumes from each country.
The designs used motifs from traditional ethnic costumes and incorporated Japanese motifs, so it was like watching a fashion show.
And the members of Standage, including the president, Adachi, all said the same thing:
"When people from African countries enter the venue, I somehow feel a strong sense of closeness to them."
That's exactly how I felt too.
(Before I knew it, it had been dyed in African colors!)
Among all the African costumes, the one that Mmi thought was the most beautiful was the Kenyan one.
It's been a hot topic online as people say it's cute, so maybe some of you have already guessed it?!
Fortunately, there is an image in this news article for your reference.

The vibrant red and blue checkered pattern matches her skin tone really well and looks beautiful!
The bright red cape is also very eye-catching.
This costume is based on the design of the “Masai Shuka” worn by the Maasai people, an indigenous people of Kenya (more precisely, the area from southern Kenya to northern Tanzania).
The bright red design is meant to be a landmark even in the vast savanna.
He really stood out at the Olympics too.
