The number of contracts for the trade package service "DigiTrad" has exceeded 100 companies

貿易まるなげパッケージサービス「デジトラッド」契約者数が累計100社を突破

Even small and medium-sized businesses can "give it all" and go overseas. Strength in developing sales channels in the Middle East and Africa.

The number of subscribers to DigiTrad, a trade-focused package service for small and medium-sized enterprises provided by STANDAGE Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akinori Adachi; hereinafter referred to as Standage), which develops and provides digital trade platforms, has exceeded 100 companies as of the end of August 2023. DigiTrad is a service launched in 2022 and is aimed at domestic companies that are interested in expanding overseas due to shrinking domestic demand and the persistent depreciation of the yen, but have given up due to lack of resources, expertise, and language barriers.

Standage is working on developing and operating trade DX products that will elevate analog, legacy trade infrastructure to the next generation stage, including a new trade settlement system that utilizes blockchain and stable coins. As part of its efforts to increase the number of domestic trade players and expand the market, Standage is working to support companies with no experience in expanding overseas.

The products range widely and include medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, supplements, food, teaching materials and educational toys, ingredients, agricultural supplies, and sake.

Since its founding, the company has focused on emerging countries as the main market for the new trade settlement system it is developing, and Africa in particular is known for its rapid population explosion, and is expected to experience significant growth in the future.

Standage has local bases in Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt and Kenya, and has been engaged in actual trade with Africa for several years since its founding, building up know-how and relationships. As a result, Standage is currently demonstrating great strength in the Middle East and Africa as a market development destination for Digitrad contract companies, which it supports in exporting.

Since launching DigiTrad in 2022, the company's trade volume has roughly doubled compared to the previous year.

The company aims to introduce the system to 200 companies by fiscal year 2024, and by supporting the exports of domestic companies, it will contribute to the expansion of global and Japanese trade markets and regional revitalization.

About DigiTrad

"DigiTrad" is a comprehensive trade package service developed exclusively by Standage that provides a one-stop service covering everything from sales channel development to negotiations, contracts, settlements, and administrative procedures related to logistics and customs clearance.

Due to the rapid depreciation of the yen in the second half of 2010 and the government's efforts to expand exports, Japan's overall export volume has been on a gradual upward trend. However, when looking at the export volume of small and medium-sized enterprises in urban and rural areas, the gap is still widening.

Digitrad was created as a package service to handle all aspects of trade, from market development to contracts, negotiations, payments, and logistics, to enable Japanese manufacturers, who face these challenges, to expand overseas more freely and easily.

This is a service that does not just systemize some operations or provide consulting, but can completely handle the entire flow of trade.
