He completed his graduate studies in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Tokyo in 2012. His research during his undergraduate years focused on developing materials for diagnostic agents for the early detection of cancer cells. As a travel enthusiast, he prioritized frequent overseas business trips in his career and joined Itochu Corporation, a general trading company, where he was mainly involved in the trade of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products, as well as M&A with overseas companies.
Having previously engaged in reselling businesses on Amazon and eBay as a hobby, I keenly felt the slow pace of digital transformation in B2B trade and became strongly convinced of the potential of DX in this field. In 2017, I co-founded STANDAGE Co., Ltd. with Akira Adachi (current CEO of STANDAGE), who was a senior colleague at Itochu at the time. Currently, as the head of Sales/Marketing, I am constantly working to cultivate users and collaborative partners and to commercialize new businesses.
