Our COO, Omori, and our Mining Business Division Manager, Inoue, recently went on a business trip to Inner Mongolia.

The purpose of this business trip was to inspect the Manning factory in Inner Mongolia.
There are three mining plants in Inner Mongolia, and we visited two of them on this trip.

Inner Mongolia has 50,000 mining machines in operation.
This area is a thriving center for cryptocurrency mining, even boasting one of the world's largest mining facilities.
With low electricity costs and consistently low temperatures throughout the year, it's an ideal environment for mining.

It's an astonishingly cold -20 degrees Celsius at this time of year...
The cold in Tokyo is nothing compared to this...

I also met with the person in charge in Inner Mongolia and was able to discuss future mining operations.
