To prevent the spread of COVID-19 among our employees and related parties, we have been implementing teleworking since last Monday, the 17th.
As there is no end in sight to the spread of the infection, we have decided to extend the period of teleworking until this Friday, the 28th.
(※Depending on future infection trends, the implementation period may be extended further.)

This will be our first attempt at teleworking.
The TDM Telework Executive Committee shared with experienced companies that have already implemented telework the challenges they faced in introducing telework, as well as the problems they encountered after actually implementing it.

Furthermore, given the anticipated traffic congestion in the Tokyo metropolitan area due to the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer, we are also considering the full-scale introduction of teleworking as a new way of working.
The issues that have arisen this time must be resolved as soon as possible, so I intend to proceed while consulting with other members of the TDM Telework Executive Committee.
