The other day, I visited the Zambian Embassy with members of our sales team.

What is the Republic of Zambia?
Located in southern Africa, this landlocked country has an area about twice that of Japan, but a population of only about 18 million (about 1/7th of Japan's population), making it a country with a very low population density.
Agriculture is a major industry, accounting for a large portion of the workforce.
Along the border with the Republic of Zimbabwe lies Victoria Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a maximum drop of 108 meters. In Japan, it is famous as one of the world's three great waterfalls, along with Niagara Falls and Iguazu Falls.

Speaking of recent news, a Zambian player achieved a historic feat in women's Olympic football at the Tokyo Olympics: scoring three goals in two consecutive matches, achieving two hat-tricks in a single tournament—a first in the history of women's Olympic football!

The purpose of this visit to the Zambian Embassy is to explore possibilities for collaboration in agriculture-related fields in Zambia.

Our service, DiGiTRAD, handles the export of agricultural machinery such as tractors and fertilizers.
I learned that over 60% of the Zambian population is engaged in agriculture, so I felt that I could help the people of Zambia by supporting the export of agricultural products.

Furthermore, common trade disputes include the risk of unpaid invoices and issues of prepayment versus deferred payment.
It seems to be happening in Zambia as well.
I felt that this problem could be solved with DiGiTRAD's digital escrow.

We aim to make import/export business safe, secure and easy, and to improve the efficiency of on-site work.
To make DiGiTRAD such a service, we will continue to listen to the opinions of those on the ground and make further updates!
