The other day, I visited the Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire with members of our sales team.

The Republic of Côte d'Ivoire is a country located in West Africa, bordering the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Guinea. Its name comes from the fact that it once had a trading port where ivory was shipped out. (COTE D'IVOIRE: French for Ivory Coast)
In Japan, too, Côte d'Ivoire used to be called the Ivory Coast.
Africa gained independence from France in 1960, the "Year of Africa," and as a result of that influence, its official language is French.

The main industry is agriculture, primarily the production of cocoa beans, coffee, potatoes, and natural rubber.
In particular, Japan ranks first in the world for cocoa bean production, accounting for approximately 35% of global production volume, and is also the world's number one exporter 🍫✨
However, even Côte d'Ivoire's highly productive agriculture faces challenges. While production is thriving, there is a lack of factories and technology to process the produce.

I want to help solve those problems!

Therefore, the purpose of this visit to the Ivorian Embassy is to explore the possibility of collaboration in agriculture-related fields in Côte d'Ivoire, where agriculture, including cocoa beans, is a major industry.

Our service DiGiTRAD handles the export of agricultural products such as agricultural machinery and fertilizers.
We hope that our support for the export of agricultural products, demonstration experiments for agricultural fertilizers, and the streamlining of supply chains handled by LogiLab will provide a glimmer of hope for solving the challenges faced by those engaged in agriculture in Côte d'Ivoire.
We will continue to speak not only with the ambassador but also with representatives from the Côte d'Ivoire Digital Agency, striving to deepen their understanding of our services.

We aim to make import/export business safe, secure and easy, and to improve the efficiency of on-site work.
To make DiGiTRAD such a service, we will continue to listen to the opinions of people on the ground and those in Africa, and make further updates.
