This startup vote features 40 startups from Japan and overseas that have passed the initial selection round and possess innovative fintech technologies and forward-looking ideas.
The top 8 companies, selected through reader votes and judge selections, will advance to the final pitch (final round) held at FIN/SUM2022 on Thursday, March 31st.

■What is FIN/SUM?
This is Japan's largest fintech conference, co-hosted by Nikkei Inc. and the Financial Services Agency.
Since its first event in 2016, it has become widely recognized as a platform where leaders from finance, corporations, governments, universities, and startups both domestically and internationally actively discuss the nature of financial policy and the potential of fintech, and collaborate with the aim of creating new businesses.
In 2021, due to the state of emergency declared in response to the spread of COVID-19, the event was held online, and the number of registered participants exceeded 5,700.

Amidst global challenges such as climate change, pandemics, and widening inequality, the role of finance is once again attracting attention.
Fintech, where the flow of money merges with the latest digital technologies, has the potential to spark innovation in various areas and usher in a new era.
