Kenta Omori (Vice President, STANDAGE Co., Ltd.)

After graduating from the University of Tokyo, I joined Itochu Corporation, a general trading company, prioritizing frequent overseas business trips due to my love of traveling abroad. I was mainly involved in the trade of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products, as well as M&A with overseas companies.

Having previously engaged in reselling businesses on Amazon and eBay as a hobby, I keenly felt the slow pace of digital transformation in B2B trade and became strongly convinced of the potential of DX in this field. As a result, in 2017, I co-founded STANDAGE Co., Ltd. with Akinori Adachi (current CEO of STANDAGE).

Currently, as the head of sales/marketing, he is working daily to develop users and collaborative partners and promote business development.

 

Akihiko Omura (CEO, COUXU Co., Ltd.)

Since March 2011, I have been working at Alibaba Marketing Co., Ltd., where I am responsible for marketing in Japan for Alibaba.com, which has the world's largest number of registered B2B (business-to-business) companies. I have been involved in supporting the overseas expansion of approximately 30 Japanese companies.

In 2013, I became independent and established COUXU Co., Ltd. We operate Sekai Connect, a commerce sourcing business that introduces overseas companies to procurement routes from Japanese companies. To date, we have helped approximately 400 companies expand overseas.
