[Start Small] Developing Overseas Sales Channels by Turning AI into a "Trade Manager" - Research, Think, and Act -
Event Outline
"We want to expand our sales channels overseas, but it's difficult to secure a substantial budget or a dedicated trade specialist." We often hear this from owners and managers of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Exporting involves numerous tasks that require specialized knowledge, such as checking the regulations and required documents of the export destination, selecting a country, communicating with overseas buyers in English, and preparing quotations and trade documents.
Until now, it was common to either hire dedicated personnel or outsource these tasks entirely, but with the advancement of AI, an environment is being created where these tasks can be started on a small scale in-house.
In this seminar, based on our experience supporting the exports of over 500 companies with our overseas expansion support service, "Omakase Trade," we will explain how to utilize AI as a "trade manager" to develop overseas sales channels even with a small team and limited budget.
We will also introduce our new service, which utilizes AI to leverage the information and business negotiation expertise we have accumulated regarding overseas buyers.

- A method for using AI to compare and consider suitable export destination countries for your company's products.

Kenta Omori
He completed his graduate studies in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Tokyo in 2012. His research during his undergraduate years focused on developing materials for diagnostic agents used in the early detection of cancer cells.
As someone who loves to travel, I prioritized frequent overseas business trips in my work, and joined Itochu Corporation, a general trading company, where I was mainly involved in the trading of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products, as well as M&A with overseas companies.
Having previously run a resale business on Amazon and eBay as a hobby, he keenly felt the slowness of the digital shift in B2B trade, but was also strongly convinced of the potential of digital transformation in this field. In 2017, he co-founded STANDAGE Co., Ltd. with Akinori Adachi (current CEO of STANDAGE), who was his senior at Itochu at the time.
Currently, as the head of sales/marketing, he is working daily to develop users and collaborative partners and promote business development.
