[Must-See for Food Manufacturers: 3 Case Studies] Where to Begin? An Introductory Seminar on Developing Overseas Sales Channels for Food Manufacturers

Event Outline

We want to expand our products overseas, but we don't know where to start—this is the most common question we hear from food manufacturers.

While there are concerns about the future of the domestic market, interest in Japanese food is growing overseas, and we are receiving more inquiries. Of the more than 450 companies that have adopted our "Omakase Trading" service, about half are food manufacturers, and many of them started out with no prior export experience. It is not uncommon for companies to have no experienced personnel on staff.

This seminar is an introductory course for food manufacturers with no prior export experience. The goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of the export process from start to finish, so that participants can leave with a clear understanding of "what to do first in their own company." Technical jargon will not be used.

[Main lecture contents]

- Food manufacturer's overseas sales channel development: the entire process from start to finish.

- Initial considerations for determining whether your company's products will be accepted overseas.

Things to prepare internally before starting exports

・Three case studies: The journey from zero to the first shipment

・Introduction to "Leave it to us trading"

*Please note that the lecture content is an example and may be changed without prior notice.

This 60-minute session will clarify "what to do first." We especially encourage companies new to exporting to participate.

Recommended for:

Food manufacturer executives who are interested in overseas expansion but don't know how to proceed.

For company representatives who do not have employees with export experience within their company.

Those who are concerned about a system that relies solely on domestic sales

Have you ever considered something before but stopped halfway through?
