Our CTO, Kihara, participated in the "Blockchain x Education WG (Working Group)" meeting held on January 25th (Friday).

This WG is an industry-academia collaboration group that works to utilize blockchain in education, train engineers, and improve technology.
On this day, we discussed the challenges of using blockchain in education and what needs to be done to implement and integrate blockchain in the field of education.

Additionally, Mr. Tsuneki Takahashi, Blockchain PJ Leader at Sony Global Education Inc., gave a presentation on the topic of "Educational Blockchain Initiatives and Future Vision: Proof-of-Concept Experiments for Blockchain Utilization in Learning Apps and School Settings."

Currently, pilot projects are underway to integrate blockchain technology into education, not only in Japan but also around the world. However, once the potential challenges are resolved, the future in which blockchain technology is fully integrated into education may not be far off.
