Standage will participate as one of the companies providing trade digitalization services in the "Study Group for Promoting the Utilization of Trade Platforms," which the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is establishing to realize the digitalization of trade operations.

The first meeting was held on November 20, 2023, where Standage provided an overview of the company and its business, introduced its core business of blockchain-based trade settlement systems, and explained "DigiTrad Forwarding," an international logistics DX system that was launched in 2023.

In addition, as an example of using Standage's trade settlement system, Nishimura Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. (Minami-ku, Kyoto) shared their case of exporting used medical equipment to Nigeria.

Following presentations on each company's initiatives, we held discussions with major shippers on the effects of digitizing trade procedures and what shippers expect to maximize the benefits of digitizing trade procedures.

This meeting will continue into 2024, and with cooperation between the public and private sectors, we plan to formulate policies for realizing the widespread adoption of trade digitalization services.

Standage will continue to innovate the way trade is conducted, which is said to have remained unchanged for 100 years, through the development and dissemination of digital trade platforms, and aims to realize a world where all countries have equal access to all goods.
