Could you tell us what led you to introduce STANDAGE's automated trading service this time?

As we aimed to expand into overseas markets, we faced various challenges related to trade. In particular, we lacked specialized expertise in the areas of overseas sales and logistics, and we felt that we needed a reliable partner to accelerate our overseas expansion.

In particular, the logistics costs involved in exporting and the complexity of complying with regulations were major challenges, and we decided to introduce a trade agency service to solve these problems.

In the initial stages of our overseas sales operations, we were active in Taiwan, but there were limitations to our expansion. To expand our business, we felt that we needed specialized support to improve efficiency in transportation, comply with regulations, and adapt to overseas business practices. It was in this context that we found STANDAGE's service that allowed us to "entrust" our trade operations to them, and we felt that it would help solve our company's challenges, so we decided to sign a contract.

What exactly did it entail?

Simply put, the biggest benefit we've seen is the streamlining of our trade operations, which we couldn't handle internally. We entrusted them with all the tedious and time-consuming tasks related to trade operations, such as clearing regulations and arranging logistics.

Regarding oil refining regulations in particular, the process is complex and time-consuming, requiring attention to quality control, regulatory compliance, and strict standards for import and export. STANDAGE provided expert support for these detailed export rules and regulations, which allowed us to smoothly proceed with the necessary procedures for export.

What results have you achieved since implementing it?

The biggest benefit is the improvement in operational efficiency. The ability to utilize external resources, especially when we're short-staffed, has been incredibly helpful. For example, we can now smoothly handle tasks that we previously couldn't manage internally, such as customer outreach and regulatory compliance, by leveraging external resources. If we had tried to handle these tasks ourselves, it would probably have required hiring one or two additional people.

By leveraging external resources, particularly in customer interactions and regulatory compliance, our workload has been significantly reduced. Previously, we had to handle everything internally, which inevitably limited our resources and made it difficult to proceed efficiently.

However, by implementing STANDAGE's services, we have been able to receive external expert support, and our operations are running very smoothly.

What kind of support do you expect from Omakase Trading in the future?

In the future, I would appreciate more support in terms of gathering marketing information. For example, it would be helpful to receive specific information that can be used in marketing practice, such as raw data and trend analysis on competitors and market trends. Currently, I do use other services, but the reality is that they are costly and time-consuming.

I believe there would be a very effective way to obtain information more efficiently, quickly, and accurately. More detailed data on current market conditions, the activities of competing manufacturers, and the proportion of new trends and products entering the market would be extremely helpful.
