Oubun Printing Co., Ltd. operates a wide range of businesses, including commercial printing, publishing printing, translation, online publishing services, and original product development. In order to accelerate its expansion into the global market, the company plans to introduce STANDAGE's "Omakase Trading" service to quickly realize product development tailored to the needs of local markets and take its first step into overseas markets.

Could you tell us what led you to introduce STANDAGE's automated trading service this time?

We have primarily conducted business in the North American market, but when we considered expanding into other regions, we encountered numerous region-specific restrictions that hindered our progress. In particular, our attempts to enter the European market, which has complex regulations, were unsuccessful. We tried selling on Amazon and exploring other trade agency services, but we were unable to achieve satisfactory results.

At that time, one of my shareholders introduced me to STANDAGE's "Omakase Trading" service, a trade agency service, and I became interested. Initially, I was a little worried about the costs involved, but the flexibility of STANDAGE's globally-oriented service and the ability to conduct promotional activities in each region were the deciding factors that led to me signing the contract.

What exactly did it entail?

What we found most valuable about STANDAGE's "Leave it to us trading" service was the frequency of progress reports and the ease of communication. They provided regular progress reports every month and responded quickly to any problems we encountered. This allowed us to stay informed about the situation and respond flexibly, which was extremely helpful.

In addition, they provided support regarding various procedures and regulations in trade. Compared to other trade agency services, STANDAGE's thorough support instilled a sense of confidence in us.

 

What results have you achieved since implementing it?

Since implementing STANDAGE's "Leave it to us trading" service, what we've realized most is that the hurdles to exporting have been significantly lowered thanks to the expert support we receive. We can entrust tasks that we can't handle ourselves to them, so we can work on our business with peace of mind.

Furthermore, being able to deliver our products domestically is a major factor in mitigating risk, and we are extremely grateful for it. Our export operations have dramatically improved, and thanks to the dedicated support from STANDAGE's staff, even minor issues are handled smoothly, allowing us to conduct our business without stress, which we are very thankful for.

What kind of support do you expect from Omakase Trading in the future?

Currently, what we are particularly looking forward to is gathering detailed information about competitors and products in specific regions. Based on this information, we plan to adjust our products and pricing. We intend to utilize primary information that cannot be obtained online to build new product strategies.

Furthermore, we plan to conduct test marketing at overseas stores and make the most of the data obtained there. In addition, to better understand local customer needs, we would like to have a system in place to regularly receive evaluations and feedback on our products.
