Overseas Expansion Strategies for Manufacturing Companies: Solving Challenges and Achievements Through the Introduction of "Automated Trade"AMC Co., Ltd.
AMC Co., Ltd. is a company that sells industrial equipment and filters, and has primarily operated in Japan. However, as they sought to expand into overseas markets in order to achieve further growth, the burden of trade operations and the difficulty of market development became major challenges. Therefore, they introduced STANDAGE's "Omakase Trade" service, which provides comprehensive support for trade operations, and are working towards efficient overseas expansion.
assignment
- The difficulty of developing sales channels in overseas markets
- Lack of knowledge and resources regarding trade operations
- The burden of effort and costs associated with transactions
current situation
- Reducing workload through the introduction of "Leave it to us trading"
- Considering the possibility of entering new markets
- Streamlining trade operations with expert support
Could you tell us what led you to introduce STANDAGE's automated trading service this time?
Our decision to adopt "Omakase Trading" stemmed from our desire to expand into overseas markets. As a small filter sales company, we had very little experience collaborating on projects with other companies.
In particular, a major challenge was that while the previous president had secured a certain level of sales domestically in Japan, the company struggled to expand into overseas markets. To address this challenge, they sought a way to reduce the effort and resources required for international trade and to enter markets more efficiently.
Initially, I had other options, but a bank introduced me to "Omakase Trade," and that was the deciding factor. After attending a seminar, I was attracted to the idea of being able to entrust all aspects of my trade operations to them, and I chose "Omakase Trade" without comparing it to other services.
What exactly did it entail?
The greatest value of "Leave it to us trading" lies in developing sales channels to overseas markets and analyzing market trends. We felt that there were limits to what we could research and gather information about overseas markets on our own, and that we needed expert support. In that context, we feel that the most valuable aspect of STANDAGE's service is that we can entrust them with all aspects of our trading operations.
Furthermore, the approachability and depth of knowledge of the staff are also major factors. For us, who have just started our trading business, being able to proceed while receiving expert advice is very reassuring and also a valuable learning experience.

What results have you achieved since implementing it?
One of the biggest changes we've noticed since implementing "Omakase Trading" is a deeper understanding of overseas markets. In fact, we were able to venture into the Nigerian market and received very valuable suggestions as options for developing new sales channels. Until now, we had chosen major markets such as China and the United States, but being presented with Nigeria as an option was very refreshing and has given us high hopes for future developments.
Another benefit is the reduction in the burden of trade operations. In particular, online communication has become smoother and more efficient, which has been very helpful.
What kind of support do you expect from Omakase Trading in the future?
Going forward, we aim to further expand our sales channels through "Omakase Trading." Specifically, our goal is to achieve at least one sales transaction by the time the two-year contract period ends. Using that as a springboard, we hope to build on even more transactions and increase our presence overseas.
Furthermore, we hope to build up our internal expertise in international trade while receiving support for expanding our sales channels. In particular, we want to further understand the trends in overseas markets and establish a system to develop sales channels more efficiently.

Comment from Mr. Kobayashi of AMC
The biggest appeal of "Omakase Trading" is undoubtedly the fact that you can entrust everything to them. For small businesses like ours, entering overseas markets requires a great deal of effort and knowledge, so being able to leave it to experts is a huge help.
Furthermore, the support from the staff is extremely thorough, and online communication is smooth, which is very helpful. Because of this kind of support, I am confident that even beginners in international trade can use the service with peace of mind.
Overall, I believe the greatest achievement is that by outsourcing our trade operations, we have significantly reduced the time and effort required, creating an environment where we can focus on developing overseas markets.
